For example, let me tell you about a mechanic for half moon characters in MBAACC called Shield Bunkering (this does not exist in MBAC in the same way).
When in blockstun and havign 100% meter, any halfmoon character can execute 214D(That's Down, Left, D button, or qcb D) and it will hit the opponent and knock them over. If they were running a mindless pressure string (like 2A 2B 6AA - this is also something all half moon characters can do), it will hit them. Similarly, you can bait bunker by doing things like 2AA, and stopping, or throwing them quickly after 2A2B.
There's a lot more to games like this than pressure strings and combos, and when you're playing you can always have your mind running at 1000%.
There's tons of stuff like this in the game to keep it alive, active, and fun on both defense and offense. Try messing around with the new mechanics and looking them up on wiki's or v1.07 match videos from Japan - there's a lot of them, and it's fun once you understand them! It adds a lot to the game, making it more than something you'll just do for these 2 weeks and never pick up again.
Playing casual doesn't mean "not trying to win." You can add a lot of experience to the game just by knowing the mechanics more indepth and all the moves you can do! There's a training mode for a reason.
