Is liking first Rider so weird?

I started Kamen Rider with V3. It's a fantastic Monster Of The Week show. /m/ just want's shitty K-Drama shows that they can buy toys for.

Infintie Space is a good game but the problem is that you need a fucking database to keep track of the skills. Of course near the end of the game I just spammed the fuck out of Itrigor Fighters, never mustered up the balls to play the game again to get the mechs in part 2

The story in the game is the main course, you can just treat this as a visual novel. The gameplay is just advance rock paper and scissors.

I didn't like DW that much. OGIN was awesome though.

I liked it.

If you've watched older shows and enjoyed them you can look past DW's flaws.

Also, totally worth int for two things:
- The point where Ryusei stands up for Latooni, starting of their "relationship"
- The last two episodes. They look awesome and like they funneled most of this shows budget into them

DW required having played at least Ryuusei's route of SRWOG,the CG clashed too much with the drawings and it was much more plot-focused.

OGIN instead was much more entertaining, thanks to DAT OBARI, lighter tone, 4th-wall-breaking scenes (pic related) and more emphasis on action more than the plot (which is a goddamn mess).

Just play the OG games. OGIN is better than Divine Wars but the GBA titles are still superior to both - and translated to English to that.

And the PS2 OGs are even better, but only in moonrunes.

DW tried too much to make a story out of OG1.

They should have just made it for what it was robots bashing and slashing shit up.

OGIN realises this and plays that card much better.

I can understand that, but I was talking about screentime. It's just too sudden, it's not the kind of plotline that a short story like that should be tackling in the middle of other on going plots. And the movie doesn't help by avoiding any kind of explicit mention of a timeskip.

Eiji seems like he hasn't seen Nobunaga for some time when he interacts with rich Nobunaga, but the movie just makes no effort to let the viewer know how much time passed.

The sense fans are getting is that Takebe is usually a spoil sport that doesn't want to be involved in these interconnecting continuity events while Tsukeda is all the opposite.

Why would you animate a novel so soon after starting it? Movies or shows can eat up a book or two in 1 or 2 episodes. That is why anime have so much filler. Something like this that comes out once a month doesn't have enough material to make a series out of. Unicorn is still running so there is no reason to animate now. The actual quote said something like Frozen Teardrop will bridge the gap between the first series and a sequel. The announcement also said that we may be getting plamo and we just now are getting news on that this past week. You can hate it as much as you want but it will happen and you will cry.

I still think they'll animate this for wing's 20th anniversary in 2015.

The problem with Newtypes, both within setting and with the audience, is that everyone is impatient.

They expect that just becoming NTs alone will do it, even though the UC titles have shown that's not the case. NTs CAN be more empathic and understanding of others, but just as likely they can see their abilities as entitlement.

They aren't, and have never been meant to be, an automatic cure-all. As we see them, they're more just a potential for mankind to learn to rise above itself. Not everyone handles the power the same way, and it doesn't fix things because they're a minority for much of the franchise. On top of which, things can't change overnight anyway.

Both the idealists in universe and the audiences got it in their heads that NTs were supposed to be messiahs that'd turn shit around. That was never supposed to be the case. They were just a sign that people were changing, and hopefully for the better.

Going by Turn A we know Newtypes never 'ascend' past thier violent nature. Instead they use thier newtype powers and continually advancing technology to build even more destructive weapons, that leads to the semi-destruction of the people of the Earth-sphere.

What is "/m/" has become skewed so far beyond repair that it doesn't even matter anymore, a show is probably /m/ related if the main character uses a toaster in one episode.

It's not a 2deep4u series, it's just a series that isn't generous with doling out backstory or world details. You get a slow drip-drip over the course of the story. It's only hard to follow sometimes because some things only become clear at the end. It's like Darker Than Black in that respect, and is about as profound as that show too (i.e it's not). Always seemed more about mood and weirdness to me.

I can agree there. I didn't find myself liking too many of the characters because most of them have Evangelion levels of emotional/psychological baggage. However, the series really wins in terms of atmosphere and setting.
